Last Updated: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the website and services of the Delhi Meetei Coordinating Committee (DMCC), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platforms. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of our guidelines, which are grounded in our organizational Constitution and global Civil Society Organization (CSO) standards.

2. Organizational Purpose

DMCC is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, and non-partisan civil society organization. Our platforms are designed to foster unity, represent the Meetei diaspora in Delhi-NCR, and protect indigenous cultural heritage. All interactions on our platforms must align with these core objectives.

3. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

As a user of our platforms or a participant in our network, you agree not to:

  • Engage in hate speech, defamation, misinformation, or any conduct that incites violence or discrimination.
  • Use DMCC's name, logo, or resources for personal commercial gain or political campaigning.
  • Disrupt organizational harmony or violate the dignity of fellow community members.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our digital infrastructure or membership databases.

Violation of these guidelines may result in suspension of membership, restriction of access to our platforms, and potential legal action.

4. Cultural Heritage & Intellectual Property

DMCC is committed to safeguarding the Meetei cultural identity.

  • Organizational IP: All content, logos, graphics, and materials produced by DMCC are the intellectual property of the organization. They may not be reproduced without explicit written consent.
  • Cultural Protection: We strictly prohibit the commercial exploitation of Meetei sacred traditions (such as Thabal Chongba and Lai Haraoba). Our platforms must not be used to promote unauthorized, commercially ticketed events that violate the sanctity of these traditions.

5. Donations and Financial Contributions

All donations made through our platforms are strictly used for organizational objectives, including community welfare and cultural preservation, in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards. Donations are generally non-refundable unless a specific processing error has occurred. Transparency reports are made available to members annually.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DMCC and its office bearers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of, our website and services. Our platforms are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through our website or via email to registered members. Your continued use of the platforms following any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
