Building What Comes Next
Around 96% of our diaspora in Delhi is under 30. They are not waiting for someone to hand them a future — they are building one. Our role is to clear the path, share the tools, and get out of the way.

Our Core Pillars
Heritage Tech
Building open-source digital tools to preserve and spread the Meitei Mayek script.
Founders Circle
A community-backed micro-incubator inspired by the traditional Marup savings model.
Skill Bootcamps
Practical, hands-on tech training designed to build real, employable skills fast.
Academic Networks
Connecting students across DU, JNU, Jamia, and other universities into a unified community.
Student Organizations
The Meetei student community in Delhi has built a network of active organizations across major universities. These bodies are the backbone of cultural life, civic engagement, and peer support for thousands of young community members.
Get InvolvedMSAD
Meetei Students' Association Delhi — active at DU and Jamia Millia Islamia, organizing Thabal Chongba and cultural events.
JNU NE Forum
Advocacy and cultural programming at Jawaharlal Nehru University, anchored by PhD scholars and researchers.
MAIYOND
Grassroots youth mobilization, volunteer programs, and participation in the 3rd May Committee coordination.
UNIKAS
United Kakching Students Association — representing youth from the Kakching district and empowering the next generation.
“Unity, sincerity, innovation, and hard work — these are the principles that guide everything we do as an organization.”
Youth Wing— DMCC Founding Principles
Skill Bootcamps
Practical, community-grounded workshops designed to build real skills — not just credentials. We focus on problems that matter to our people while teaching the technical skills that matter to the market.
*Note: This initiative is currently in the idea stage and is being explored for feasibility. These concepts represent ideas we are actively exploring.*
Meitei Mayek Digital Lab
Preserve our 2,000-year-old script by building open-source fonts, keyboards, and educational apps. Ensure Meitei Mayek runs natively on every device in the world.
Community Data Fellowship
Learn data literacy by solving real community challenges — analyzing housing patterns, IDP resettlement data, and helpline usage. Turn raw data into actionable insights.
Civic Tech Workshop
Build the digital infrastructure our community desperately needs — event calendars, professional directories, and coordination tools. If it doesn't exist, we build it.
Youth Wing Leadership
The youth wing is run by community members who volunteer their time and effort. We are currently in the process of rebuilding the youth wing, and we will be officially assigning these roles soon. Full leadership positions will be announced once the wing is formally constituted.
Roles & Responsibilities
Leads overall coordination of youth activities, represents the wing in external settings, and sets strategic direction.
The official voice of the youth wing for media, press, and public communications.
Represents the youth wing at community events, government meetings, and inter-organization dialogues.
Responsible for recruiting new members, building ties with campus organizations, and growing the network.
Manages social media, produces press materials, and maintains the public image of the youth wing.
Organizes community gatherings, cultural events, and drives participation in DMCC programs and initiatives.
Acts as the bridge between the youth wing and the parent executive committee, allied student organizations, and government bodies.
We are always looking for passionate young leaders to step up. Connect with us to explore how you can contribute.
Diaspora Founders Circle
Not a startup accelerator. Not a pitch competition. A community-backed ecosystem for Meetei entrepreneurs — inspired by the traditional Marup (rotating savings) model our people have used for generations. We pool resources, share knowledge, and build together.
*Note: This initiative is currently in the idea stage. The final structure may change depending on project feasibility. These concepts represent ideas we are actively exploring.*
The Marup Fund
Community micro-investments pooled together — inspired by our traditional rotating savings groups — to back early-stage Meetei ventures without requiring VC gatekeepers.
Reverse Mentorship
Pairing elders with deep domain expertise (retired officers, academics, senior professionals) with youth who bring technical execution skills. Wisdom flows both ways.
Diaspora Skills Exchange
A community matchmaking platform connecting Meetei professionals in Delhi — doctors, engineers, artists, academics — with youth seeking real-world apprenticeships and mentorship.
Ima Keithel Online
Helping women vendors from Asia's largest all-women market sell online — with youth volunteers providing e-commerce skills training, product photography, and digital support.
Heritage IP Lab
Helping community members protect and commercialize indigenous knowledge — traditional textiles, organic recipes, herbal remedies — through proper IP registration and branding support.
Monthly Pitch Nights
Informal community evenings where young founders share ideas with diaspora professionals. No judges. No eliminations. Just honest feedback over tea and an opportunity to connect.
